LIONS CHILD SIGHT UK Volunteers from Wareham Lions have joined forces with Lions International in a programme of training in the use of non-invasion camera to scan school children under 7, to help detect eyesight issues before they affect their education and wellbeing. One in five children have undiagnosed vision issues, screening can uncover conditions often before symptoms appear. Screenings are quick, child friendly and conducted by DBS-checked trained volunteers.
